Don’t Waste Soy Sauce!

Are you getting the most out of your soy sauce? The way you use your condiments may not be too important when you dine at our Issaquah sushi restaurant, but you want to take special care if you ever find yourself dining in Japan.

Since soy sauce is such an important commodity to the Japanese, it is considered rude to leave behind a shallow pool of the sauce after you are done with your sushi. Try only pouring out a tiny amount to better assure that you’re only taking what you are going to use, and remember that too much soy sauce is going to mask the delicate tastes that your chef worked so hard to cultivate.
